Combination system and operation control method for controlling each of a plurality of devices through a single on-screen display

A control apparatus for use in a combination system having plural devices for performing independent functions in response to operation commands, the control apparatus comprising:

• an on-screen display (OSD) module for outputting an OSD that displays a list of operation commands that can be inputted for controlling operations of each of the plural devices;
• and
• a controller for receiving an input from a user input device in response to selection of one of said operation commands, interpreting said input to determine which of said operation commands has been selected via said input, and to which of the plural devices said operation command is to be transferred, and transferring the said operation command to the corresponding one of the plural devices to perform the operation command.
