The invention relates to an imaging method for examining substances which contain atoms with an indirect nuclear spin-nuclear spin interaction. At least one excitation impulse produces a precession of at least several nuclear spins with an additional phase angle Δφ−=γrΔBzτ in relation to an already existing precession in an outer magnetic field so that a transversal magnetization spreads out perpendicularly in relation to the outer magnetic field whereby effecting a relaxation of the transversal magnetization with relaxation times T2. The inventive method is characterized in that at least one rephasing pulse, which rephases the transversal 9magnetiztion, is applied after the excitation pulse and after a recording of at least one highly resolved image, and in that additional images are subsequently recorded with a lower resolution.
A magnetic imaging method used to examine substances, whereby through indirect nuclear spin-spin interaction, a precession of at least some nuclear spins having an additional phase angle Δφ=−γ1−γBzτ relative to an already existent precession is created in an external magnetic field, so that a transverse magnetization fans out perpendicular to the external magnetic field, as a result of which a relaxation of the transverse magnetization having relaxation times T2* is generated, characterized in that, after the excitation pulse, at least one high-resolution image is taken, in that subsequently at least one rephasing pulse, which rephases the transversal magnetization, is applied and in that subsequently additional images having a lower resolution are taken, whereby the high-resolution image and the additional lower-resolution images are taken during a signal drop that is determined by a spin-spin relaxation time T2.
The method according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that, after the rephasing pulse, at least one additional high-resolution image is taken.
The method according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that the resolution of the additional images is varied over time.
The method according to claim 5, characterized in that the additional images have a resolution before the rephasing pulse that differs from that after the rephasing pulse.
The method according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that the excitation pulse is a 90° pulse.
The method according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that the rephasing pulse is a 180° pulse.
