Group A streptogramin derivatives of formula (I) and salts thereof: 1 Group A streptogramin derivatives of formula (II) and salts thereof: 2 and Group A streptogramin derivatives of formula (III) and salts thereof: 3 as well as processes for preparing such streptogramins, and pharmaceutical compositions comprising such streptogramins, alone or combined with at least one group B streptogramin derivative.

A group A streptogramin derivative of formula (I) or a salt thereof:

- R1 is chosen from cyano and ethynyl groups,
- R2 is chosen from a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, and an ethyl group, and
- the bond is a single bond (27R stereochemistry) or a double bond.
A group A streptogramin derivative of formula (II) or a salt thereof:

- wherein:
- R2 is chosen from a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, and an ethyl group,
- R3 is a perfluoroalkyl group comprising from 1 to 10 carbon atoms, and
- the bond is a single bond (27R stereochemistry) or a double bond.
A group A streptogramin derivative of formula (III) or a salt thereof:

- R2 is chosen from a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, and an ethyl group, and
