Method and apparatus for evaluating the phase changing function of fabric

A method for evaluating the phase changing function of fabric, which comprises the steps of:

• a.) providing a fabric for evaluating the phase changing function thereof;
• b.) providing a body temperature device, an environment temperature device, a controller, and a record device;
• c.) putting said fabric on said body temperature device, and a first surface of said fabric is contacting with said body temperature device;
• d.) putting said environment device on said fabric, and a second surface of said fabric is contacting with said environment device;
• e.) heating said fabric by said controller through two control means for controlling temperature, wherein said controller is connected with said body temperature device and with said environment temperature device separately through two control signal cables for simulating the temperature of a human body and nature environment respectively on both surfaces of said fabric;
• f.) generating a body thermal signal and an environment thermal signal by said body temperature device and said environment temperature device respectively;
• g.) receiving said body thermal signal and said environment thermal signal by said record device through at least a feedback signal cable;
• and
• h.) recording and outputting an efficient protection time and a body thermal variate of said fabric for evaluating the phase changing function thereof.
