Abstract
Stablizing mixtures for organic polymers comprising: (a) at least one compound belonging to the group of 3-pyrazolidinones; (b) at least one compound belonging to the group of organic phosphites or phosphonites; (c) at least one compound belonging to the group of sterically hindered phenols; and, optionally, (d) at least one compound belonging to the group of sterically hindered amines. The above mixtures can be used as stabilizers of organic polymers to degradation caused by oxygen, heat and/or light.
Claims23
Stabilizing mixtures for organic polymers comprising:
- (a) at least one compound belonging to the group of 3-pyrazolidinones;
- (b) at least one compound belonging to the group or organic phosphates or phosphonites;
- and optionally
- (c) at least one group belonging to the group of sterically hindered phenols;
- and, optionally,
- (d) at least one group belonging to the group of sterically hindered amines.
Polymeric compositions containing an organic polymer and an effective quantity of one of the stabilizing mixtures according to any of the previous claims.
A method for stabilizing organic polymers against degradation caused by oxygen, heat and/or light, which comprises the addition or application to said organic polymers of the stabilizing mixtures according to any of the claims from 1 to 15.
