Abstract
A light irradiating device (68) having the good radiation characteristic comprises a plurality of conductive paths (51) that are electrically separated, a photo semiconductor chips (65) fixed onto desired conductive path (51), and a resin (67) for covering the photo semiconductor chips (65) to support the conductive paths (51) integrally.

A light irradiating device comprising:
- a plurality of conductive paths that are electrically isolated;
- a photo semiconductor chip fixed on one of the conductive paths;
- and
- a resin which transmits light for covering the photo semiconductor chip to support the conductive paths integrally.

A light irradiating device manufacturing method comprising steps of:
- forming a plurality of conductive paths by forming a isolation trench in a conductive foil except at least areas serving as the conductive paths wherein the isolation trench is shallower than a thickness of a conductive foil;
- fixing a photo semiconductor chip on one of the conductive paths;
- covering the photo semiconductor chips with a resin which can transmit a light to fill the isolation trenches;
- and
- removing the conductive foil on a side on which the isolation trenches are not provided so that the resin is exposed.
