Abstract
In a method in connection with a pipe grate (2) for a fluidized bed boiler, air or a corresponding gaseous medium is supplied to the fluidized bed boiler through several pipes (8). The active area of the grate, in which the supply of air or the like to the pipe grate takes place, is adjusted with pipe-specific control means (10) which are included in at least some of the pipes of the pipe grate (2).

A method in connection with a pipe grate (2) for a fluidized bed boiler, in which air or a corresponding gaseous medium is supplied to the fluidized bed boiler through several pipes (8), characterized in that the active area of the grate, in which the supply of air or the like to the pipe grate takes place, is adjusted with pipe-specific control means (10) which are included in at least some of the pipes of the pipe grate (2).
The method according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the pipes (8) are cooled at least during the combustion process of the fluidized bed boiler with a liquid or gaseous cooling medium, such as water or steam or a mixture of them.
A pipe grate (2) for a fluidized bed boiler, comprising several pipes (8) which are connected to an air duct (9) to supply air or a corresponding gaseous medium to the grate and which comprise nozzles (11) or the like to supply air or the like to a furnace (1) above the pipe grate, characterized in that at least some of the pipes (8) in the grate (2) have a pipe-specific control means (10) acting on at least part of the supply of air to the pipes.
