Abstract
In an image forming apparatus including a rotatable image bearing member, an image forming unit for forming a developer image, a transfer unit for transferring the developer image on the image bearing member, a cleaning member in contact with the image bearing member, and a developer recovering container with an aperture directed downward in the direction of gravity, the developer has a substantially spherical shape.
Claims11
An image forming apparatus comprising:
- image forming means for forming a developer image on a rotatable image bearing member;
- transfer means for transferring the developer image on said image bearing member onto a transfer material;
- and
- cleaning means provided with a cleaning member maintained in contact with said image bearing member, and a container of which an aperture for recovering the developer is directed downward in the direction of gravity,
- wherein the developer has a substantially spherical shape.
