Abstract

A method and an apparatus for enabling to facilitate a management of a work time. A work time management apparatus comprises activation restricting means CL1 for, when a worker activates a work object O, restricting an activation thereof, fingerprint inputting means CL2 for inputting a fingerprint of the worker, fingerprint registering means CL3 for registering a fingerprint of each worker in advance, fingerprint collating means CL4 for collating the input fingerprint with the registered fingerprint of the worker, restriction releasing means CL5 for releasing the restriction according to the activation restricting means CL1 when a registered worker is specified through the fingerprint collation, and work time recording means CL6 for counting to record a work time up to the time when an operation of the work object O is terminated on the basis of the fact that the restriction has been released.
