An information storage medium according to an embodiment of this invention includes a wobbled groove having a wobble period modulated by multi-frequency shift keying corresponding to playback control information.

An information storage medium comprising:
- a wobbled groove having a wobble period modulated by multi-frequency shift keying corresponding to playback control information.
An information recording apparatus for recording information on an information storage medium having a wobbled groove having a wobble period modulated by multi-frequency shift keying corresponding to playback control information, comprising:
- a read section configured to read the playback control information from the wobble period of the wobbled groove;
- and
- a recording section configured to record target information at a target position on the basis of the playback control information read by the read section.
An information playback apparatus for playing back information from an information storage medium having a wobbled groove having a wobble period modulated by multi-frequency shift keying corresponding to playback control information, comprising:
- a read section configured to read the playback control information from the wobble period of the wobbled groove;
- and
- a playback section configured to play back target information from a target position on the basis of the playback control information read by the read section.
