Abstract
At a predetermined location on a touch panel, a document image in a portrait direction, or a document image in a landscape direction is displayed according to a direction of the scanned document, while displaying a corresponding forwarding image in parallel, on the same screen. Since the direction of the scanning document and the direction of the document at the destination are displayed, it is possible to easily confirm how the scanning image is forwarded to the destination, thereby preventing an error of forwarding the document with the wrong direction.
Claims15
A multifunctional printer comprising:
- a scanner configured to scan a document to obtain image data;
- a transmitter that transmits the obtained image data to a destination terminal;
- a controller that generates document image illustrating a direction of a document scanned by said scanner and transmission image illustrating a direction of a document at the destination terminal;
- and
- a display configured to display the document image and the transmission image generated by said controller.
A method for displaying image data to be transmitted to a destination terminal, utilizing a multifunctional printer, the method comprising:
- scanning a document to obtain image data;
- transmitting the obtained image data to a designated destination terminal;
- generating document image illustrating a direction of a document scanned by said scanner and transmission image illustrating a direction of a document at the destination terminal;
- and
- displaying the document image and the transmission image when the document image is transmitted to the destination terminal.
A method for displaying image data to be transmitted to a destination terminal, using a multifunctional printer, the method comprising:
- automatically switching from a first screen for designating a destination to a second screen for displaying document image and transmission image when a destination is designated;
- and
- displaying the document image that is matched to a direction of a scanned document image and the forwarding image on the second screen.
A method for displaying image data to be transmitted to a destination terminal, using a multifunctional printer, the method comprising:
- automatically switching from a first screen for designating a destination to a second screen for displaying document image and transmission image, when a destination terminal is designated for transmitting the document image to the designated destination terminal;
- displaying the document image that is matched to a direction of a scanned document image, and the transmission image on the second screen;
- and
- displaying by changing each image displayed on the second screen, according to a transmission status.
