Abstract
A fixing belt for fixing an ink-jet image recorded on an ink-jet recording material, the fixing belt comprising a base material having thereon a base-surface modifying layer and a releasing layer in the order, wherein the base-surface modifying layer has a pencil hardness of HB or a higher hardness and the releasing layer comprises a silicone resin.

A fixing belt for fixing an ink-jet image recorded on an ink-jet recording material, the fixing belt comprising a base material having thereon a base-surface modifying layer and a releasing layer in the order,
