Abstract
The use of methylpropane-1,3-diol mono(meth)-acrylate to prepare oxidatively and/or thermally curable coating compositions, adhesives, and sealing compounds.
Claims12
A method comprising:
- A. applying to a substrate a composition comprising at least one of
- i) a homopolymer of methylpropane-1,3-diol mono(meth)acrylate, and
- ii) a copolymer comprising a reaction product of methylpropane-1,3-diol mono(meth)acrylate and at least one monomer copolymerizable with methylpropane-1,3-diol mono(meth)acrylate;
- and
- B. curing the composition by at least one of:
- i) oxidative curing, and
- ii) thermal curing.
