Abstract
The invention relates to the use of certain felbamate derivatives to treat neuropathic pain, obesity, glaucoma, depression, and mood disorders, as well as other conditions.
Claims37
A method for treating a patient suffering from neuropathic pain, comprising administering to the patient an effective amount of a compound of formula (I), (II), or (III):

- R1, R7,R8, R9 and R10 are each independently H, halo, alkyl, haloalkyl, NR5R6, hydroxy, or alkoxy;
- R2 is halo;
- R3 is hydroxy or —OCONH2;
- R4 is hydroxy or carbonyl;
- and
- R5 and R6 are each independently alkyl
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
