Abstract
A method for improving the adhesion of catalytic and adsorptive compositions to surfaces is disclosed.
Claims12
A method for improving the adhesion of a first material to a surface, the first material being selected from the group consisting of a catalyst composition and an adsorption composition, which method comprises adding a second material selected from the group consisting of attapulgite, montmorillonite, bentonite, beidellite, nontronite, hectorite, saponite, talc, mica, synthetic clay, a silicone polymer and combinations thereof to the first material to form a mixture, and coating the mixture onto the surface.
A method for improving the adhesion of a first material to a surface, the first material being selected from the group consisting of a catalyst composition and an adsorption composition to a surface, which method comprises adding a second material selected from the group consisting of a clay and a silicone polymer and combinations thereof to said first material to form a mixture, and coating the mixture onto said surface, wherein the coated surface is not subjected to calcination.
