Abstract
A client machine receives Web data including a learning material part from a learning server in an e-Learning center to display it as an Web page. The Web page includes a circle graph that represents the intelligibility of all learners who studied the learning material and a pair of bar graphs that represent the rate of the achievers in the finishers who could not understand the learning material. A learner can make use of the status information represented by the graphs to his or her learning. After attending the learning material part, a learner clicks an “Understood” button or a “Not Understood” button to inform one's intelligibility to the learning server.
Claims13
A learning support method with an on-line computer that holds a learning material content and intelligibility information, comprising:
- a learning material transmitting step for transmitting said learning material content to client machines;
- a receiving step for receiving information representing intelligibility of learners about said learning material content;
- an updating step for updating said intelligibility information based on the information representing intelligibility received in said receiving step;
- and
- an intelligibility information transmitting step for transmitting said intelligibility information to said client machines.
A learning support method with an on-line computer that holds a plurality of learning material contents and intelligibility information corresponding to said respective learning material contents, comprising:
- a learning material transmitting step for transmitting one of said learning material contents to client machines;
- an updating step for updating said intelligibility information corresponding to the learning material content when said on-line computer receives the information, which represents intelligibility with respect to the learning material content transmitted in said learning material transmitting step, from one of said client machines;
- and
- an intelligibility information transmitting step for transmitting said intelligibility information with respect to the learning material content transmitted in said learning material transmitting step to said client machines.
A learning support method with an on-line computer that holds learning material contents including a plurality of learning pages, a learning history of said learning material contents and intelligibility information corresponding to said respective learning pages, comprising:
- a learning material transmitting step for transmitting one learning page of said learning material contents to client machines;
- an updating step for updating said intelligibility information when said on-line computer receives information representing intelligibility with respect to the learning page of said learning material contents transmitted in said learning material transmitting step from one of said client machines;
- and
- an intelligibility information transmitting step for transmitting the information with respect to intelligibility of all learners for first through recent pages transmitted according to said intelligibility information and said learning history.
A learning support program for controlling a non-line computer to execute processes of:
- storing a learning material content in a storage;
- storing intelligibility information in said storage;
- transmitting said learning material content to client machines;
- receiving information representing intelligibility of learners with respect to said learning material contents transmitted;
- updating said intelligibility information stored based on said information representing intelligibility received;
- and
- transmitting information based on said intelligibility information to said client machine.
A learning support program for controlling a non-line computer to execute processes of:
- storing a plurality of learning material contents in a storage;
- storing intelligibility information corresponding to said respective learning material contents in said storage;
- transmitting one of said learning material contents to client machines;
- updating said intelligibility information corresponding to the learning material content when said on-line computer receives the information representing intelligibility of learners with respect to the learning material content transmitted;
- and
- transmitting said intelligibility information with respect to the learning material content transmitted to said client machines based on said intelligibility information stored.
A learning support program for controlling an on-line computer to execute processes of:
- storing learning material contents including a plurality of learning pages in a storage;
- storing a learning history of said learning material contents in said storage;
- storing intelligibility information corresponding to said respective learning pages stored in said storage;
- transmitting one of said learning pages stored to client machines;
- updating said intelligibility information corresponding to the learning page when said on-line computer receives the information representing intelligibility with respect to the learning page of said learning material contents transmitted from one of said client machines;
- and
- transmitting said intelligibility information of all learners for first through recent pages transmitted according to said intelligibility information and said learning history stored.
