Abstract
A device for the manufacture of a cast, in particular a dental aid from a preheated workable substrate. The device comprises a hollow body having an essentially flat first side being provided with holes which first side is arranged to receive a model from which a cast is to be made. Said first side is adapted to cooperate with a holder-on, which seals the substrate against said first side. The body cooperated with a vacuum source that he cooperation is achieved through one to the body belonging connection being connect ably arranged to an external vacuum source.
Claims12
Device for the manufacture of a cast, in particular a dental aid from a preheated, workable substrate (5), and which comprises a hollow body (1) having an essentially flat first side (2) being provided with holes (3), which first side (2) is arranged to receive a model (4) from which a cast is to be made, wherein said first side (2) is adapted to cooperate with a holders-on (7) which seals the substrate (5) against said first side (2), whereby the body (1) cooperates with a vacuum source, characterised in,
- that the cooperation is achieved through one to the body (1) belonging connection (6) being connectably arranged to an external vacuum source.
Device according any of the claims 2-5, characterised in,
- that the cylinder (7) consists of a polymeric material.
Method for the manufacture of a cast, in particular a dental aid from a preheated, workable substrate (5), wherein the substrate (5) is applied onto a model (4), from which a cast is to be made, and is placed on a first side (2) of a hollow body (1), which first side (2) is provided with holes (3), and a holder-on (7) is placed over said substrate (5), to seal the substrate (5) against said fast side (2), whereafter the body (1) cooperates with a vacuum source aid the substrate (5) is moulded after said model (4), characterised in,
- that the cooperation is achieved through one to the body (1) belonging connection (6) being connectably arranged to an external vacuum source.
