Abstract
Provided is an aqueous gel preparation for covering wounds which contains a paste having a gel strength, in water, of 7.5 to 100 g. Such a wound covering preparation is effective for promoting wound healing, is capable of absorbing exudate sufficiently, does not adhere to the wound surface and can be held at the affected part stably.
