Outputting of reports generated by a telephone exchange

A telecommunications system consisting of a telephone exchange, the data of which will be pre-processed by a generally known data acquisition process before the data are sent to the receiving equipment for outputting in the desired format,

• characterized in that this consists of
• at least one form that determines the fields that are to be printed and the unchanged identifier information associated with the fields,
• databases in the telephone exchange and the receiving equipment for storing the forms,
• the means to separate the specified fields from pre-processed data, using forms, to form and to send a data stream consisting of binary data to the receiving equipment,
• the means to separate the binary data, using a form, into parts specified in the form and to attach each part to the field specified by the corresponding identifier information,
• the means for forming a data stream by a form which data stream controls the operations of the exchange, and
• outputting devices for outputting the fields and identifier information in the desired format.
