Abstract
The present invention is a camera system which is usable with a mobile terminal. The camera system includes a lens module and at least one mechanism for changing optical properties by interacting with the lens module. The camera system may be built into the mobile terminal or attached thereto as an external module.

Mobile terminal device having a camera system comprising a lens module and at least one means for changing optical properties being adapted to cooperate with said lens module of said camera system.
Part of a housing comprising at least one means for changing optical properties of a lens module of a camera system being adapted to cooperate with said lens module of said camera system of a mobile terminal device.
Means for changing optical properties adapted to cooperate with a lens module of a camera system, wherein a mobile terminal device comprises said camera system.
Method for changing optical properties of a lens module of a camera system comprising:
- changing optical properties of said lens module by actuating means for changing the optical properties to cooperate with said lens module and
- placing said means for changing optical properties in front of said lens module, wherein a mobile terminal device comprises said camera system.
