Abstract
The invention relates to a photographic element comprising a base and hydrophillic colloid layers comprising at least one layer comprising photosensitive silver halide, wherein said hydrophilic colloid imaging layers further comprise a flexibilizer agent and said flexibilizer agent has a logP of greater than −1.2.
Claims27
A photographic element comprising a base and hydrophillic colloid layers comprising at least one layer comprising photosensitive silver halide, wherein said hydrophilic colloid imaging layers further comprise a flexibilizer agent and said flexibilizer agent has a logP of greater than −1.2.
A method of forming a photographic element comprising providing a photographic element comprising a base and hydrophillic colloid layers comprising at least one layer comprising photosensitive silver halide, bringing said photographic element into contact with an aqueous solution of flexibilizer agent to imbibe said flexibilizer agent into said photographic element, removing said photographic element from said aqueous solution, drying said photographic element to recover a photographic element containing the flexibilizer agent, wherein said flexibilizer agent has a logP of greater than −1.2.
A method of forming a photographic element comprising providing a base material, overcoating said base material with a plurality of hydrophillic colloid layers, wherein said hydrophillic colloid layers comprise at least one layer comprising photosensitive silver halide, and wherein at least one layer comprises flexibilizer agent, and said flexibilizer agent has a logP of greater than −1.2 log P.
