Abstract
An image processing apparatus generates a file including image data and attribution information, and generates a file wherein this attribution information is recorded together with other attribution information, and records these files on a storage medium. A data processing apparatus obtains the file wherein the attribution information of each image data is recorded, and processes the image data based on the corresponding attribution information.

An image processing apparatus comprising:
- image acquisition means for obtaining images;
- first file generation means for generating a first file including image data output by the image acquisition means and attribution information for the image data;
- and
- second file generation means for generating a second file in which the attribution information together with other attribution information, are recorded.

- file acquisition means for obtaining first files in which attribution information of each image data are recorded;
- and
- data processing means for changing a process and a display form of each of the image data based on the corresponding attribution information in the first file.
An image processing method comprising:

- a second step of changing a process and a display form of each image data based on the corresponding attribution data in the first file.
