Abstract
A method of preparing an elastomeric polymer comprising the step of reacting a bisoxazolone with a primary or secondary di-amine terminated oligomer. Also disclosed is a polymer having the formula comprising the repeat unit (I), where R1, R2, R3 and R4 can be any alkyl or aryl groups and R5 the amine terminated oligomer.

A method of preparing an elastomeric polymer comprising the step of reacting a bisoxazolone with a di-amine terminated oligomer, wherein said step is carried out in a solvent at a temperature less than 80° C.
