Abstract
A pulverized fuel burner having reduced NOx emissions comprises a first precessing jet nozzle surrounded by a second nozzle. The second nozzle feeds pulverized fuel into a precessing jet of air formed by the first nozzle.

A pulverized fuel burner, comprising:
- a first nozzle that creates a precessing jet of air adjacent the nozzle exit;
- and
- a second nozzle that conveys the pulverized fuel into the precessing jet of air for combustion.
