Abstract
Suspension wires (3a) and (3c) are fixed to and bridged over a lens holder (1) and a fixing member (11) which is fixed to the housing. On each of side surfaces of the lens holder (1) is mounted a tilt bobbin (8) onto which a tilt coil (9) is wound. A second suspension wire (3b) is fixed to and bridged over the tilt bobbin (8) and the fixing member (11).
Claims11
An optical head comprising:
- a lens holder supported in a displaceable manner with respect to a housing;
- at least one actuator having a magnet and a drive coil, for displacing the lens holder;
- a plurality of first suspension wires bridged over and fixed to two side surfaces of the lens holder and the housing;
- a plurality of bobbins for holding the drive coil and which are fixed to the side surfaces to which the first suspension wires are fixed, and
- a plurality of second suspension wires bridged over and fixed to the bobbins and the housing.

A suspension for supporting a lens holder of an optical head to a housing while allowing displacement by an electromagnetic actuator, the suspension comprising:
- a plurality of first suspension wires bridged over and fixed to two side surfaces of the lens holder and the housing;
- a plurality of bobbins for holding a drive coil of the electromagnetic actuator and which are fixed to the side surfaces to which the first suspension wires are fixed, for holding a drive coil of the electromagnetic actuator;
- and
- a plurality of second suspension wires bridged over and fixed to the bobbins and the housing.
1 more element
A method for assembling an optical head comprising the steps of:
- fixing, to a lens holder, a bobbin to which a drive coil is provided, the lens holder having projections in positions pinching the bobbin and the bobbin having recesses which fit the projections, the lens holder and the bobbin being positioned by fitting the projections and the recesses;
- fixing one end of a first suspension wire to the lens holder;
- fixing one end of a second suspension wire to the bobbin;
- and
- fixing the other ends of the first suspension wire and the second suspension wire to a housing of the optical head.
