The invention relates to a system for flue gas purification and to a method for introducing a purifying agent. The aim of the invention is to introduce a purifying agent (R) into the metering device (8) of a system (2) for flue gas purification in a simple and inexpensive manner. To this end, the system is provided with a collector (4) that is adapted to receive a plurality of storage containers (6) for the purifying agent (R) and that is used to automatically displace the storage containers (6) relative to the metering device (8). The automatic displaceability of the storage containers (6) substantially reduces the number of interventions by the operating personnel.
A system (2) for flue gas purification, having a metering device (8) for a purifying agent (R), which can be fed to the metering device (8) from a storage container (6), in which system there is a collection device (4) for receiving a plurality of storage containers (6), by means of which collection device the storage containers (6) can automatically be moved to the metering device (8).
The system (2) as claimed in one of the preceding claims, in which the corresponding storage container (6) can be fed to the metering device (8) from above.
The system (2) as claimed in one of the preceding claims, in which there is a guide element (16) for guiding the corresponding storage container (6) during its movement to the metering device (8).
The system (2) as claimed in one of the preceding claims, in which the purifying agent (R) is a bulk material.
A method for supplying a purifying agent (R) for a flue gas purification system (2) to a metering device (8), in which a plurality of storage containers (6) holding the purifying agent (R) are received by a collection device (4), and a storage container (6) is fed to the metering device (8) automatically.
