Abstract
A control method for an information processing apparatus which can be loaded with a device driver includes an installing step of installing a device driver, a determining step of determining whether or not a control program in the information processing apparatus is to be rebooted when the device driver is installed in the installing step, and a display controlling step of controlling display of a display screen for reboot when it is determined that reboot is required in the determining step.

A control method of an information processing apparatus that can be loaded with a device driver, comprising:
- an installing step of installing a device driver;
- a determining step of determining whether or not a control program in the information processing apparatus is to be rebooted when the device driver is installed in said installing step;
- and
- a display controlling step of controlling display of a display screen for reboot when it is determined that reboot is required in said determining step.
A control method of an information processing apparatus that can be loaded with a device driver, comprising:
- an installing step of installing a device driver;
- a determining step of determining whether or not a control program in the information processing apparatus is to be rebooted when the device driver is installed in said installing step;
- and
- a step of automatically performing reboot when it is determined that reboot is required in said determining step.
A computer-readable storage medium storing a control program executed in an information processing apparatus which can be loaded with a device driver, comprising:
- an installing step of installing a device driver;
- a determining step of determining whether or not a control program in the information processing apparatus is to be rebooted when the device driver is installed in said installing step;
- and
- a display controlling step of controlling display of a display screen for reboot when it is determined that reboot is required in said determining step.
A computer-readable storage medium storing a control program executed in an information processing apparatus which can be loaded with a device driver, wherein:
- the information processing apparatus is allowed to perform:
- an installing step of installing a device driver;
- and
- a determining step of determining whether or not a control program in the information processing apparatus is to be rebooted when the device driver is installed in said installing step;
- and
- the information processing apparatus is allowed to perform a step of automatically performing reboot when it is determined that reboot is required in said determining step.
An information processing apparatus capable of being loaded with a device driver, comprising:
- installing means for installing a device driver;
- determining means for determining whether or not a control program in the information processing apparatus is to be rebooted when the device driver is installed by said installing means;
- and
- display controlling means for controlling display of a display screen for reboot when it is determined that reboot is required by said determining means.
An information processing apparatus capable of being loaded with a device driver, comprising:
- installing means for installing a device driver;
- and
- determining means for determining whether or not a control program in the information processing apparatus is to be rebooted when the device driver is installed by said installing means, wherein
- reboot is automatically performed when it is determined that reboot is required by said determining means.
An information processing apparatus capable of being loaded with a device driver, comprising:
- an installing unit, adapted for installing a device driver;
- a determining unit, adapted for determining whether or not a control program in the information processing apparatus is to be rebooted when the device driver is installed by said installing unit;
- and
- a display controlling unit, adapted for controlling display of a display screen for reboot when it is determined that reboot is required by said determining unit.
An information processing apparatus capable of being loaded with a device driver, comprising:
- an installing unit, adapted for installing a device driver;
- and
- a determining unit, adapted for determining whether or not a control program in the information processing apparatus is to be rebooted when the device driver is installed by said installing unit,
- wherein reboot is automatically performed when it is determined that reboot is required by said determining unit.
