Abstract
This invention relates to novel humanized and other recombinant or engineered antibodies or monoclonal antibodies to the vitronectin αvβ3-receptor and to the genes encoding same. Such antibodies are useful for the therapeutic and/or prophylactic treatment of αvβ3-mediated disorders, such as restenosis, in human patients.
Claims30
An altered antibody specifically reactive with the human αvβ3 protein receptor and capable of neutralizing said receptor comprising a heavy chain comprising at least one CDR sequence of SEQ ID NOS:
- 4 and 5, and functional fragments of the antibody.
A murine monoclonal antibody and functional fragments thereof, specifically reactive with the human αvβ3 receptor and capable of neutralizing said receptor, having a heavy chain comprising at least one CDR sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 1 and 2.
