An automatic visual perception device for an event occurring in a space with respect to at least one parameter, characterized in that it comprises a control unit (513), a data bus (510), a time coincidences bus and at least one histogram calculation unit for the processing of said parameter.
A method for automatic perception of an event occurring in a space with respect to at least one parameter, consisting in digitalizing the parameter and inputting it to a histogram calculation unit in order to obtain a histogram representative of the parameter and to derive the result desired.
