Abstract
A light emitting element suitable for a blue light lamp in a signal light apparatus is provided. The group III nitride compound semiconductor light emitting element includes a first light emitting layer for emitting a first light having a blue light and a second light emitting layer for emitting a second light having a green light. The first light and the second light are combined to provide a third light having a blue-green light synthesized from the first light and the second light.
Claims12
A group III nitride compound semiconductor light emitting element comprising:
- a first light emitting layer for emitting a first light having a blue light;
- and
- a second light emitting layer for emitting a second light having a green light;
- wherein the first light and the second light are combined to provide a third light having a blue-green light synthesized from the first light and the second light.
An LED comprising:
- a group III nitride compound semiconductor light emitting element comprising a first light emitting layer for emitting a first light having a blue light and a second light emitting layer for emitting a second light having a green light,
- wherein the first light and the second light are combined to provide a third light having a blue-green light synthesized from the first light and the second light;
- and
- a sealing resin for sealing the group III nitride compound semiconductor light emitting element.
A signal light apparatus comprising a plurality of LEDs arranged in the predetermined pattern,
- wherein each of the plurality of LEDs comprises:
- a group III nitride compound semiconductor light emitting element comprising a first light emitting layer for emitting a first light having a blue light and a second light emitting layer for emitting a second light having a green light,
- wherein the first light and the second light are combined to provide a third light having a blue-green light synthesized from the first light and the second light;
- and
- a sealing resin for sealing the group III nitride compound semiconductor light emitting element.
