A method of producing a lamp is disclosed. The method provides for mounting light emitting junctions on a support structure such that the junctions adopt a three-dimensional array.

A method of producing a lamp, comprising mounting light emitting junctions on a support structure such that the junctions adopt a three-dimensional array.
A lead frame comprising a plurality of conductors formed in a curved configuration, for supporting light emitting junctions in a three-dimensional array.
A method of operating a lamp, comprising forming conductors and light emitting junctions electrically connected therebetween, including controlling electrical current through individual ones of the conductors so as to independently control light output from the junctions coupled thereto.
