Abstract
A protection member for a suitcase is an elongated U-shaped body which encloses the connection stripe enclosing two overlapped edges of two adjacent surface fabrics of the suitcase. A groove is defined in an outside of the U-shaped body and a stitch for connecting the protection member, the connection stripe and the two overlapped edges is received in the groove.

A protection member for a suitcase which has a connection stripe enclosing two overlapped edges of two adjacent surface fabrics of the suitcase, the protection member comprising:
- an elongated U-shaped body which is adapted to enclose the connection stripe and a groove defined in an outside of said U-shaped body, said groove adapted to receive a stitch.
