Abstract
The present invention relates to a data transmission cable and the like comprising a structure reducing the frequency dependence of cable attenuation in digital transmission, thereby suppressing signal distortions. The data transmission cable comprises at least a pair of conductors, each coated with an insulator, extending along a predetermined direction; and a shield tape, provided so as to surround the conductors, including a metal layer. In particular, in the shield tape, the metal layer has a thickness of 1 μm or more but 10 μm or less, preferably 2 μm or more but 6 μm or less.
Claims10
A data transmission cable comprising:
- at least a pair of conductors, each coated with an insulator, extending along a predetermined direction;
- and
- a shield tape, provided so as to surround said conductors, including a metal layer facing said conductors, said metal layer having a thickness of 1 μm or more but 10 μm or less.
Dependencies are inferred from the claim text.
