Abstract
Recombinant antibody constructs comprise the variable regions of the heavy and light chains of anti-GD2 antibodies. These antibody constructs may be coupled to a label such as a radiolabel or to a protein such as streptavidin or pro-drug converting enzymes for use in imaging or therapeutic applications. The antibody constructs may also be transduced into T cells to produce populations of T cells which target GD2-producing tumor cells.
Claims16
A recombinant single chain polynucleotide comprising a region encoding the variable region of the light chain of an anti-GD2 antibody linked to a region encoding the variable region of the heavy chain of an anti-GD2 antibody.
A recombinant single chain peptide comprising the variable region of the light chain of an anti-GD2 antibody linked to the variable region of the heavy chain of an anti-GD2 antibody.
T cells expressing a recombinant single chain peptide comprising the variable region of the light chain of an anti-GD2 antibody linked to the variable region of the heavy chain of an anti-GD2 antibody.
A method for assaying for the presence of cells expressing GD2 in tissue comprising combining the tissue with a recombinant single chain peptide comprising the variable region of the light chain of an anti-GD2 antibody linked to the variable region of the heavy chain of an anti-GD2 antibody and a detectable label.
A method for targeted delivery of a therapeutic agent to cells expressing GD2 in tissue comprising combining the tissue with a recombinant single chain peptide comprising the variable region of the light chain of an anti-GD2 antibody linked to the variable region of the heavy chain of an anti-GD2 antibody and a therapeutic or pre-therapeutic moiety.
