Abstract
The invention concerns a blood pump, in particular a ventricular cardiac support pump, with formed in a pump housing a blood chamber which is designed to hold a rotor rotatable about a rotor axis and at opposite ends in sections forms an inlet connectable with an inlet cannula, where an outlet from the blood chamber connectable with an outlet cannula extends in a direction perpendicular to the rotor axis, and where the rotor axis at its ends is mounted rotatably in mechanically active bearings provided in the area of the inlet concerned and connected with the pump housing.

Blood pump, in particular ventricular cardiac support pump, with formed in a pump housing (10) a blood chamber (12) which is designed to hold a rotor (20) rotatable about a rotor axis (24) and at opposite ends in sections forms an inlet (14, 16) which can be connected with an inlet cannula (48, 50) in each case, where an outlet (18) from the blood chamber which can be connected with an outlet cannula extends in a direction perpendicular to the rotor axis, characterised in that the rotor axis at its ends is rotatably mounted in mechanically active bearings (34, 40) which are provided in the area of each inlet and are connected with the pump housing
