Coils 1-3 of each phase are arranged symmetrically with regard to a rotary shaft of disc-shaped rotor 8, and form a pair of coils electrically coupled with each other. A manufacturing apparatus for a stator including these coils of a brushless motor is utilized for manufacturing the following stator: a number of coils in each phase is S/N pieces (N is an integer equal to or more than 2, and S/N is an integer), every component making up the stator including the coils are arranged in an area spanning 360/N degree with regard to the rotary shaft of disc-shaped rotor 8. The apparatus can manufacture N pieces of this stator simultaneously. As a result, the brushless motor and the manufacturing method can reduce a number of coils to 1/N as well as increase the productivity to N times.
A brushless motor having a stator with flat air-core coils in phases and a disc-shaped rotor having a permanent magnet with numbers of pairs of polarities wherein said stator faces said rotor, in said motor respective components making up said stator are arranged within an area spanning 360 degree/N, where N is an integer and equal to 2 or more than 2, with regard to a rotary shaft of said rotor.
A brushless motor manufactured by a manufacturing apparatus which manufactures a stator of another brushless motor comprising coils in each phase wherein each phase has S pieces of flat air-core coils, where S is an integer and equal to 2 or more than 2, and said coils in each phase are symmetrically arranged with regard to a rotary shaft of a disc-shaped rotor and form a pair coupled electrically,
A method of manufacturing a brushless motor, said motor comprising:
