The invention relates to an adjusting device for a cable (2) of a hand-brake. When the hand-brake is disengaged, a tractive element (4) configured as a threaded spindle that can be attached to the cable (2) can be tightened on a spindle nut (10) that surrounds the threaded spindle (4) in relation to a housing (3), by means of the pre-tensioning of a spring. The invention aims to provide an adjusting device that permits a simple, continuous adjustment of a cable. To achieve this, the spring is configured as a constant-force spring (12) which engages the spindle nut (10) and a supply roll (15) that has a rotational axis parallel to the spindle nut (10) and elements are provided for retaining the tractive element (4) in position, relative to the housing (3), when the hand-brake is engaged.
An adjusting device for a cable pull (2) of a parking brake, wherein when the parking brake is disengaged, a pulling element (4) capable to be connected to the cable pull (2) and designed as a threaded spindle, can be tightened relative to a housing (3) on account of the prestressing of a spring (12) onto a spindle nut (10) engaging around the threaded spindle (4), characterized in that the spring is a scroll spring (12) which acts on the spindle nut (10) and on a supply reel (15) having an axis of rotation parallel to the spindle nut (10), and that means for retaining the pulling element (4) relative to the housing (3) are provided when the parking brake is engaged.
