Abstract
A method for producing a pulp molded article (7) comprising the steps of supplying a pulp slurry into the cavity (1) of a mold (10) composed of a set of splits (3 and 4), the set of splits (3 and 4) being assembled together to form the cavity (1) with a prescribed configuration, to form a pulp deposited body (5), feeding a fluid into the cavity (1) to press the pulp deposited body (5) onto the inner wall of the cavity (1) for dewatering.

A method for producing a pulp molded article comprising the steps of supplying a pulp slurry into the cavity of a mold composed of a set of splits, the set of splits being assembled together to form said cavity with a prescribed configuration, to form a pulp deposited body, feeding a fluid into said cavity to press said pulp deposited body onto the inner wall of said cavity thereby to dewater said pulp deposited body.
