Abstract
There is provided according to the invention a metered dose inhaler comprising an interfacial surface having a linear non-cross-linked polymeric compound disposed thereon. There are also provided processes for its preparation and its use in therapy.

A component or accessory for use in a metered dose inhaler comprising an interfacial surface having a linear, non-cross-linked polymeric compound disposed thereon which comprises a functional grouping which is capable of anchoring the compound to the surface thereof.
A component or accessory as claimed in claim 2 or claim 3 wherein the polymeric compound is disposed as a multi-molecular layer thereon.
