Abstract
A skin care composition comprising about 20% to about 85% by weight water, about 2% to about 40% by weight stearic acid and about 2% to about 40% by weight glycerin, diglycerin, grapeseed oil or a combination thereof is described. The composition is particularly useful as a shaving cream.

A skin care composition comprising 20% to 85% by weight water, 2% to 40% by weight stearic acid and 2% to 40% by weight glycerin, diglycerin, grapeseed oil or a combination thereof, based on total weight of the composition.
A skin care composition consisting essentially of 20% to 85% by weight water, 2% to 40% by weight stearic acid and 2% to 40% by weight glycerin, diglycerin, grapeseed oil or a combination thereof, based on total weight of the composition.
A shaving cream consisting essentially of 2% to 15% by weight stearic acid, 5% to 20% by weight glycerin and/or 5% to 10% by weight grapeseed oil, 2% to 10% by weight glyceryl stearate, 0.5% to 5% by weight grapefruit seed extract, sodium hydroxide to adjust pH to 6.0-6.5, and balance water, based on total weight of the composition.
