Abstract
A method of mapping locale data names stored in a cross platform database is disclosed. In the described embodiment, the database is formatted and the attributes are loaded in the formatted database. An attribute associated with a source platform is selected and the database is queried for the selected attribute. The selected attribute is then provided to the target platform

A method of mapping locale data names stored in a cross platform database, comprising:
- loading the database;
- loading the attributes in the formatted database;
- selecting an attribute associated with a source platform;
- querying the database for the selected attribute;
- and
- providing the selected attribute to a target platform.
An apparatus for mapping locale data names stored in a cross platform database, comprising:
- a means for loading the database;
- a means for loading the attributes in the formatted database;
- a means for selecting an attribute associated with a source platform;
- a means for querying the database for the selected attribute;
- and
- a means for providing the selected attribute to a target platform.
A computer program product arranged to enable a computing device to map locale data names stored in a cross platform database, comprising:
- computer code for loading the database;
- computer code for loading the attributes in the formatted database;
- computer code for selecting an attribute associated with a source platform;
- computer code for querying the database for the selected attribute;
- computer code for providing the selected attribute to a target platform;
- and
- a computer readable medium for storing the computer code.
