A method, a system and a computer program product for computer-assisted furnishing of materials in elevator construction, wherein materials are provided with a readable or writable data transmitter, these materials are furnished, data of the data transmitter are written or read with computer assistance and these data are checked with computer assistance.

A method for computer-assisted furnishing of materials for elevator construction, comprising the steps of:
- providing materials to be furnished with a readable or writable data transmitter;
- furnishing the materials;
- reading or writing the data of the data transmitter with computer assistance;
- and checking the data with computer assistance.
A system for computer-assisted furnishing of materials for elevator construction, comprising:
- a readable or writable data transmitter provided on the materials;
- a read/write device operative to read or write data of the data transmitter with computer assistance;
- and an evaluating unit operative to check read data with computer assistance.
A computer program product for computer-assisted furnishing of materials in elevator construction, comprising:
- means for accessing read data of the materials and details of a checklist;
- and means for comparing read data with the details of the checklist.
