Abstract
This invention provides a clear paint composition for motorcars which contains 10-80% by weight of polyester resin containing units derived from alicyclic polybasic acid and/or alicyclic polyhydric alcohol, 5-50% by weight of polyisocyanate compound and 0-50% by weight of acrylic resin; and which forms coating having Universal Hardness (HU) of not more than 500 N/mm2.

A clear paint composition for motorcars, which is characterized by comprising
- 9 (A) polyester resin containing units derived from alicyclic polybasic acid (a) and/or alicyclic polyhydric alcohol (b) 10-80% by weight (B) polyisocyanate compound 5-50% by weight and (C) acrylic resin 0-50% by weight, and forming a coating having Universal Hardness (HU) not higher than 500 N/mm2.
