Abstract
The invention concerns a combination of alpha-tocopherol and riluzole or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and the use of said combination for treating amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

A method of treating amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or diseases associated with degeneration of the motoneurons comprising administering to a patient in need of said treatment an effective amount of a combination of α-tocopherol and riluzole or of a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, optionally in combination with the pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
