Combinations of aldosterone blockers and Cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitors useful in the treatment of inflammation are disclosed.

A method for preventing or treating an inflammation-related cardiovascular disorder in a subject in need thereof, which method comprises treating the subject with a therapeutically effective amount of an aldosterone antagonist and cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitor combination or pharmaceutically-acceptable salts thereof.
A method of preventing or treating an inflammation-related disorder in a subject, said method comprising treating the subject with a therapeutically-effective amount of an aldosterone antagonist and cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitor combination sufficient to alter the expression of one or more expression products involved, directly or indirectly, in the regulation of inflammation in the subject.
A compound comprising an aldosterone blocker and a cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitor, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
