Abstract
The invention features non-human mammals and animal cells that contain a targeted disruption of a phosphodiesterase 10A (PDE10A) gene.
Claims9
A genetically-modified, non-human mammal, wherein the modification results in a disrupted phosphodiesterase 10A (PDE10A) gene.
A genetically-modified animal cell, wherein the modification comprises a disrupted PDE10A gene.
A method of identifying a gene that demonstrates modified expression as a result of reduced PDE10A activity in an animal cell, said method comprising assessing the expression profile of an animal cell containing a genetic modification that results in reduced PDE10A polypeptide levels in said cell, and comparing said profile to that from a wild type cell.
