Signal processing system and method

A method for processing a signal comprising:

• inputting an input signal;
• conducting a plurality of signal section candidate detection processes of detecting an intended signal section candidate that is a candidate in a signal section in which an intended signal to be detected is recorded and a noise signal section candidate other than the intended signal section candidate from the input signal, the respective signal section candidate detection processes using different detection algorithms for an intended signal section candidate and a noise signal section candidate;
• and
• being notified of detection results of the respective signal section candidates from the plurality of signal section candidate detecting processes and classifying the signal section candidates based on a combination of the detection results.

A computer-readable recording medium storing a program that is executable by a computer for conducting signal section detection processing, the program comprising:

• inputting an input signal;
• conducting a plurality of signal section candidate detection processes of detecting an intended signal section candidate that is a candidate in a signal section in which an intended signal to be detected is recorded and a noise signal section candidate other than the intended signal section candidate from the input signal, the respective signal section candidate detection processes using different detection algorithms for an intended signal section candidate and a noise signal section candidate;
• and
• being notified of detection results of the respective signal section candidates from the plurality of signal section candidate detecting processes and classifying the signal section candidates based on a combination of the detection results.
