Abstract
Copolymer prepared by polymerizing a branched neo vinyl ester component, an acidic component, and a component capable of providing a Tg of about −20° C. to 100° C. The copolymer can optimally be prepared in the presence of at least one surfactant. An amine neutralizing agent can be added to the copolymer.

A composition comprising a copolymer prepared by polymerizing a branched neo vinyl ester component, an acidic component, and a component capable of providing a Tg of about −20° C. to 100° C., and an amine neutralizing agent.
A copolymer prepared by polymerizing a branched neo vinyl ester component, an acidic component, and a component capable of providing a Tg of about −20° C. to 100° C. in the presence of at least one surfactant.
A latex composition comprising (a) copolymer prepared by polymerizing a branched neo vinyl ester component, an acidic component, and a component capable of providing a Tg of about −20° C. to 100° C. in the presence of at least one surfactant in water, and (b) an amine neutralizing agent.
