Abstract
Compounds of Formula I are provided: 1 wherein: R is lower alkyl or branched lower alkyl; and Ar is phenyl, phenyl substituted with one or more of halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, lower alkylthio, lower alkylamino, cyano, or perfluoroalkoxy, or a heteroaromatic moiety; and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.

Compounds of Formula I:

- wherein:
- R is lower alkyl or branched lower alkyl;
- and
- Ar is phenyl, phenyl substituted with one or more of halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, lower alkylthio, lower alkylamino, cyano, or perfluoroalkoxy, or a heteroaromatic moiety;
- and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.
The compounds of Formula I wherein:
- R is branched lower alkyl;
- and
- Ar is phenyl or phenyl substituted with one or more halogen, cyano, or lower alky.
A pharmaceutical composition comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and an effective amount of a compound of Formula I:

- R is lower alkyl or branched lower alkyl;
- and
- Ar is phenyl, phenyl substituted with one or more of halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, lower alkylthio, lower alkylamino, cyano, or perfluoroalkoxy, or a heteroaromatic moiety;
- and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.
A method of reducing smooth muscle contractility in a mammal in need thereof comprising administering to said mammal are effective amount of a compound of Formula I:

- and
- Ar is phenyl, phenyl substituted with one or more of halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, lower alkylthio, lower alkylamino, cyano, or perfluoroalkoxy, or a heteroaromatic moiety;
- and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.
