A multi-phase detergent tablet comprising: a) a first phase having a planar upper surface, and b) a second phase adhered to and partially covering said upper surface.

A multi-phase detergent tablet comprising:
- a) a first phase having a planar upper surface, and
- b) a second phase adhered to and partially covering said upper surface.
A tablet according to any one of the preceding claims wherein the first phase comprises two or more layers of differing compositions.
A tablet according to any one of the preceding claims wherein the first phase and the second phase are adhered by an adhesive.
A tablet according to any one of the preceding claims wherein the second phase comprises an enzyme.
A tablet according to any one of the preceding claims wherein the second phase comprises a disrupting agent.
A tablet according to any one of the preceding claims wherein the first phase and the second phase are compressed.
A tablet according to any one of the preceding claims which is a dishwasher tablet.
A process for preparing a tablet as defined in any one of the preceding claims which comprises adhering the second phase to the first phase.
